Fandom meme

A fandom shipping meme. Name me a fandom and I will tell you, in my opinion:

One True Pairing Ship:
Canon Ship:
"If this happens I'll stab my eyes out with a spork" Ship:
"You are one sick bastard" Ship:
"I dabble a little" Ship:
"It's like a car crash" Ship:
"Tickles my fancy but not sold just yet" Ship:
"Makes no canon sense but why the Hell not" Ship:
"Everyone else loves it but I just don't feel it" Ship:
"Hurry up and make it happen!" Ship:

If there are one or more people on your friends list who make your world a better place just because they exist, and who you would not have met (in real life or not) without the Internet, then post this same sentence in your journal.

Okay, I don't generally like taggy/chain letter things much, but this one is TRUFAX and it is always good to say these things. :)

The Pizza Thief

A few issues back Glamour magazine did a jokey piece on people it's okay to hate. I have an addition to make to that list. Today I was inside my favourite lunch shop to get pizza. There were three pieces of fresh margarita which looked delicious and two slightly sad looking pieces of mushroom which had clearly got a little cold. There was one bloke in front of me in the queue. Though I naively, "Well, that's okay. I'll get the margarita no problem." Wrong! Did the bloke take one piece like any normal person? No! Did he take two pieces like a greedy person? No! Did he take three pieces like a complete and utter *****? Oh yes!

I skulked away to my favourite bench with my inferior mushroom pizza and was rewarded by the sight of the pizza theif getting into his car. I might have felt better if he had had two very hungry friends waiting there, but he did not. He clearly intended to have a scoffing session solo.

In other news, there has been copious amounts of rain, I have brought a belt, eight pairs of tights and my mum's birthday present, and  I could eat a horse right now I'm so hungry.

Laurence is back

I got my computer back. All the data has been saved, though I have to reinstall most of my programmes and applications. Apparently the death of my power supply and mother board is not just a common fault with eMachines computers - it's a fault with practically every eMachines computer. The 121 people were quite vocal about it.

So, it was an expensive business, but there you go. Could have been worse, and it wasn't my fault. And now I'd better get to reinstalling my apps.

We are the champions!

Nothing to see here, moving on.

Fufufufu... I totally wasted my time today, and I hate doing that. I need to rewrite the start to my novel, and I procrastinated on that for about five hours with messing around on DA, Outpost Gallifrey and baking a spice cake. I have been a bad girl. And this evening I had from nine o'clock to do something useful and I didn't... I hate wasting time so much. I am very much one of those people who always likes to have "achieved" something, hopefully in tangible form, by the end of a day.

Tomorrow, I will be better. Aims for tomorrow:
- my parents and I are going to a dog show in the afternoon, probably until about sixish, so that takes out a lump of the day...
- I should do the alterations to my novel tomorrow, though they aren't urgent... I could leave them until Tuesday, though
- I really want to do some proper sketching. Like, make many sketches I could turn into proper pictures. I haven't worked that way before and it might be fun and take some of the pressure off drawing...

My toothache is better today and hopefully it won't be noticeable tomorrow. My arm is okay, which is good - it really felt weird and stiff yesterday from my blood test. And as far as I can tell the antibiotics are getting rid of my infection so the health front appears to be better.

I've decided the incident with the car yesterday didn't happen...

This really is an incredibly boring entry, isn't it? Fufufufu, I think I only made it to procrastinate on going to bed.

Molly lives!

I had to perform an emergency stop today - the first emergency stop I've had to do since passing my driving test. This was because Molly, in misguided ecstacy that I had come home from work, dashed straight out in front of my car coming into the drive with her tail wagging. I'm flattered that Molly loves me so much, but she'd better not make a habit of this or she may end up squashed!

Dog is man's best friend. Trufax.

Marzie and Hal's New House Installment V

May. 4th, 2008

No, I haven't gone to bed like a sensible person, because I'm an idiot, and I have sudden fear about the fact that my birthday is less than a week away and 22 seems horribly old. Ack I'm getting on!

Okay, now I really will go to bed.
